Of Wall Things....Bulletin Boards had it's beginning in 1980 when the search for a youthful and unique wall decoration for my children's rooms sparked an idea. This idea proved to be not only decorative but also useful and delightful. Since that first board an ever-growing line, which currently numbers over fifty different original designs, has been developed.

The process of making a board begins by laminating together several pieces of rectangular base material. The shapes are cut out using a band saw, and then the surface and edges of the shape are covered with burlap. The board is next decorated by using several different techniques. Most of the bulletin boards are hand painted. Others are decorated with hand cut thermal flock material or a combination of hand-painted and flock material decoration.

The shapes for many of the boards are based on different themes or other interests which appeal to various age groups. These bulletin boards are ideal for hanging in a bedroom, playroom or study. Some boards were designed with the kitchen or sewing room in mind. Our bulletin boards have also been purchased for use in commercial establishments such as day care centers, medical waiting rooms, retail stores, offices, and eateries.

The bulletin boards can be personalized either by using hand-painted lettering or pre-cut thermal lettering. Custom coloring or the matching of school team colors can also be done by request.
