Our shipping and handling charges are made up of packaging charges, postage, delivery confirmation charges, and a small handling charge. We do not make any profit on these charges. The postage and delivery confirmation charges are exactly what the post office charges us. 

We charge a $3.50 packaging and handling charge for each box.  A box can hold up to five bulletin boards.  The $3.50 charge is mostly for packaging. We had to get a special box made for the bulletin boards so we could keep the overall size of the package under 84 inches. This allows us to avoid the USPS oversize charge which would impose a minimum charge for a 15lb. package. (A package containing one bulletin board weighs under 6 lbs.)  This specially made box allows us to charge the cheapest postage rate possible to our customers. Each box costs us $1.59. We also wrap each board in bubble wrap to protect it and then add additional packing. The bubble wrap costs about $1.25 per box. This leaves $0.66 to cover tape, additional packing, a letter included with each bulletin board giving instructions on what to do if the board arrives damaged in any way, labeling, the cost of actually packing the box, transporting it to the post office and waiting in line at the post office to ship the package.  

All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. The average time it takes for delivery is approximately two to four days. This varies however based on the items destination and the time of year it is being shipped.  These charges reflect shipping rates within the United States.  Please contact us for shipping costs outside the United States.
